Many large complex jobs with top quality work for a competitive price
Nick handled the first large project for us nearly 7 years ago. He removed the entire defective siding on the outside of a large house and replaced it with Hardie board, installed custom trim around all the windows after removing rotted wood, supervised the painting and sealing, and blended it all together perfectly. It was a complex job and required creativity and attention to detail because we changed out rotted stucco-like panels on a house with a Tudor look with regular siding. I would be happy to share before and after pictures to illustrate how well it turned out. Shortly after that job, he removed a small worn landing outside our kitchen and installed an awesome deck with composite flooring. He worked with us to design the deck and constructed the railings and footers in a way that is such high quality and so stable that it is rare to see among the average decks added to homes in DC neighborhoods. A couple years later, we had Nick renovate a basement bathroom, laundry room and utility room area. This was another complex job because it required hiding exposed plumbing lines on the side of the bathroom wall and a massive amount of water and gas lines and wiring just above a low drop ceiling in the laundry room, so we could raise the ceiling and install install a real ceiling rather than drop tiles. I don’t know how he did it but once again it was perfect and required a lot of difficult carpentry work. He also changed the drainage lines in the floor and installed proper drainage lines in the wall behind the washing machines, replacing a utility sink with a nice sink, marble counters, and cabinetry. He transformed a dank, dusty room with crumbling drop tile ceilings and wires into a modern, clean laundry room with proper drainage in the floor. Most recently, after we moved to a larger house, we hired Nick to renovate the interior and exterior. He renovated all of the bathroom and the kitchen, all of the lighting inside the house, supervised a team he found to paint the interior and exterior and sand the floors, and supervised replacing all the gutters on the house. His top aid also refinished all our kitchen cabinets, doing such a good job they look like new, saving us thousands of dollars for not having to replace them. As expected, the work was impeccable. We also pressured Nick to do the job quickly because we had sold our old house. He finished the job on schedule. And the price was extremely fair.
